Hello Everyone! It’s that time of the week again… and this week’s color palette focus is titled “Pink & Company.” I have to admit although I am an advocate for all things pretty, I am not a huge fan of pink. On the other hand I am a fan of pink when it is complemented by other colors. Today’s pictures will all involve the use of pink and some other color as the formula for beautiful event design.
This reminds me of orange & rasberry sorbet…mmmm

This, on the other hand, looks like a melted sorbet. It’s for those who want a very modern look.. Or a melted palette cleanser…

So gorgeous. The first cake was made by Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes with piped chocolate over a pink fondant. The second was designed by Cakeline and the perfect pink palette for a mid summer event.
Pink Peony Popcorn from Martha Stewart What a good idea!

In conclusion, if you are going for ultra-feminine go all pink. If you would like to tone down the feminity but still use pink think complementing colors like chocolate brown, yellows, greens, and oranges depending on the mood you are trying to set.
